Over the last three decades there has been a significant increase in both our knowledge of the skin and also the available tools to measure skin condition parameters. Many parameters can be measured giving us valuable information about the skin that can help us assess the condition of the skin and also enable us to be proactive in preventing some occupational skin diseases.

Skin Hydration Monitor EDS10

This device was developed specifically for occupational health professionals. It measures moisture levels in the skin. These are indicative of the irritant damage that has been done to the skin. These measurements can be used for education and training of the workforce as well as a tool to enable us to be proactive in the prevention of irritant contact dermatitis. Dermal Measurement System EDS12

This device was developed specifically for occupational health professionals. It measures moisture levels as standard. There is also the option to add probes for measurement of water loss and erythema (redness). It is a useful tool for education and to be proactive in prevention of irritant contact dermatitis.
