The Awareness Day has three parts

A short audio-visual presentation to teach workers about the skin, why it is important, how it can become a problem and how to avoid those problems.

They have their skin measured by our specialist and there is an opportunity to ask any questions on a one-to-one basis about skin in the workplace.

They have a short demonstration on how to put on and take off gloves. Each participant must then try and remove a pair of gloves without contaminating their skin. Our special light box will show whether they have succeeded. This is a practical way of ensuring that they understand the importance of handling gloves correctly and ensuring that your workforce remains contamination free.

The day is followed by a brief report on the glove test and findings of the skin condition measurements. The day will give you a very valuable insight into potential glove contamination problems, your workplace skin conditions and highlight areas and tasks where problems might have remained undetected. At the same time you will be complying with the latest regulations and showing your concern for your worker's health.
