Diana will provide insight into the measurement techniques available for investigating mechanical properties, hydration properties and skin barrier quality and how they can be applied effectively for research and product development. Other skin measurement parameters from the Courage & Khazaka range will be available on the day for demonstration, hands on experience and discussion on how you can apply them effectively in your work area.
Prof Gert Nilsson

Gert will inform us about the tissue viability imager measurement technique and how it can be used for microcirculation mapping of skin and oral tissue. He will provide insight into the different applications. The further toolbox applications will be available for demonstration, hands on experience and discussion on how they might benefit your work.
Dr Artur Bezugly
Dermatologist & Director, Taberna Pro Medicum
Artur will present on the high frequency ultrasound measurement, providing background on the technique, imaging the skin and how this can be used to measure different aspects of the skin. He will provide insight into the different application fields and how high frequency ultrasound might benefit the work you are involved in. There will be an opportunity to see the equipment in action and to have discussion on how best to use the equipment.
Dr Jonathan Crowther
Director, JMC Scientific Consulting Ltd.
Jonathan will use his extensive experience to go through the process of designing studies to support a product. He will go through the stages of defining consumer need, exploratory testing, designing and executing the study and finally looping back to determine whether the study met the initial needs. He will pull out the different considerations that might need to be made along the way. Jonathan will also be available for questions and discussion about study design and using measurements to gain understanding of products and the skin.
