Each survey includes a detailed report which not only identifies the risks but also includes detailed proposals for managing these risks. The emphasis is always on engineering (technical) controls first as opposed to personal protective equipment etc, using other methods only where appropriate. In many cases the controls introduced have not only resulted in the required reduction of risk (and hence regulatory compliance) but have also resulted in a reduction in actual operating costs.
